A family has successfully restored a 200-year-old mill located on a farm in Dunleer, Co Louth, turning it into a contemporary home with the help of celebrity architect Hugh Wallace. For Patrick Connor, the restoration is deeply personal, as he has childhood memories associated with the mill. His wife Kelly initially found the building eerie but embraced the challenge of transforming the ruin into a stunning living space, demonstrating the transformative potential of effort and imagination in historical renovations.
