The Jubilee line's partially built tube station at Fenchurch Street to be demolished

New London House, built in the 1970s, was designed with a planned tube station for the Jubilee line that was never completed. A significant amount of space was reserved for the station, including a ticket hall and escalator area. Although construction began, plans for the Jubilee line extension to Fenchurch were delayed. Eventually, some of the basement space was repurposed in 1982 as a wine bar, known today as Paris Grill, while the main station remains incomplete, leading to the upcoming demolition of the remains.
