They sourced pleated linen drapes to achieve a functional yet aesthetic finish that contributes to their bedroom's tranquility. The project highlights the innovative ways renters can maximize space without sacrificing their deposit through permanent alterations.
A big challenge for us was finding a discreet way to cover up and hide the storage space in our bedroom, especially with such high ceilings.
Since they're renting, it was important not to make any permanent changes, as we renters are serious about getting that security deposit back.
The couple purchased a curtain track from IKEA and used a handsaw to cut it and adjust it to fit the length of their closet.
Overall, it was simple to install and effective in highlighting our tall ceilings, and the soft texture adds a sense of tranquility to the room.
