This article discusses the successful renovation of a former town farm dating back to the 16th century, revitalized into a modern residential area through collaboration between a private investor and architects. The project, which received public funding, transformed the historical site, located near the Taschentorturm, into three apartments and a barn with a three-storey apartment. Emphasizing sustainability, the new residences utilize district heating, while the once-enclosed courtyard now serves as a communal outdoor space for all residents, blending history with modern living requirements.
