Google Lens Comes To YouTube Shorts
Briefly

Google Lens is set to be integrated into YouTube Shorts, allowing users to search for information on elements within the video they're watching. Users can pause a Short and highlight parts to see search results. Initially, the feature will display organic results without ads. Users may learn about locations they see in the Shorts, enhancing their viewing experience. The beta will roll out to all users, but it won't work with Shorts that include affiliate links or paid promotions.
We're excited to begin rolling out a new beta that brings the magic of Google Lens to YouTube Shorts.
During the beta phase of Lens in Shorts, you won't see ads shown in the search results.
If you're watching a Short filmed in a location that you want to visit, you can select a landmark to identify it.
No ads, Google said, only organic results will be shown during the initial pilot.
