1 hour agoAlexander Isak faces moment that could define Liverpool stay
Hugo Ekitiké suffered a serious injury, and Liverpool needs Alexander Isak to regain form after a disappointing performance against PSG.
"He helped me a lot from the moment he arrived at Barcelona, he was with me at all times. He gave me advice, taught me things and did everything possible so that I could be where I am today, in the first division," Messi said in 2005.
"We gave it our all, but it wasn't enough. This is just part of the journey: to reach the top, you have to climb, and we know it won't be easy, nor will they make it easy for us. But giving up is not an option."
I've watched the 6-1 game [against PSG] many times, I saw it live. Neymar has been a huge part of my childhood, he's my idol and I'll always be grateful for what he's given to football. He inspires us all. You pay for a ticket to see him and two or three days after the match you'd watch it again just to see his plays. I want to thank him for everything he's given to football and I hope he can be at the World Cup.
Playing in the Premier League has always been a dream of mine, and I'm incredibly excited for what's ahead. I know there's still plenty of work to do, and pushing myself every day and improving is something I'm fully committed to. We have some special things ahead of us at Sunderland, and I'm looking forward to taking this journey together.
