Peeking above aquamarine waves that hide the world's second-largest barrier reef, Belize's Ambergris Caye first emerged as a destination for the daring. In January of this year, I had to have cervical spine surgery. Ironically, I wasn't worried as much about the surgery as I was about the post-surgery fallout. So I said yes and it turned out they meant the other Zoe Williams, the one who is a doctor and used to be a Gladiator, and is incredibly fit already, and yes, in retrospect, that should have been obvious all along.
