The government plans to use AI technology to verify the age of migrants arriving in the UK to prevent adults from falsely claiming to be children.

Braverman stated, "It just shows what a farce our asylum system has become. There are violent, organised criminals who are playing our system and making a lot of money on the backs of others to get into our country illegally."

Whittome stated that the UK needs a 'complete overhaul of the asylum and immigration system so that it's more humane, more compassionate, gives people dignity'. She emphasized that what one might call border control 'is actually violence'.
