It's eerie how the theme of instant change permeates the three works below. It's even more disturbing that the news of a crucial Bay Area theatre reducing or cancelling its season has become so common.

The festival is a wonderful reflection of the Bay Area's cultural richness, showcasing talent from professional companies and community groups that represent diverse dance styles.

Known trans theatre folk certainly did. A few professed allies did. But the number of companies and venues to do so was depressingly low, and I can't recall a single Cesar Chavez acknowledgement.
