Huawei's upcoming Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, and Mate 80 Pro+ have been certified for sale in China. The Mate 80 has the model number VYG-AL00, the Mate 80 Pro is SGT-AL00, and the Mate 80 Pro+ is SGT-AL50. The Mate 80 has support for 66W wired charging, the Pro and Pro+ go up to 100W. Apple's launch event for the iPhone 17 lineup is just around the corner, and case makers are already showing off the products they can be paired with on the IFA 2025 showfloor. I walked around two rooms dedicated to the latest mobile phone accessories and they were dominated by cases apparently designed for Apple's upcoming iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Air launches, with several examples being displayed on dummy units.
At least one phone in Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S26 range may look a little different to what we were expecting, and a lot more like Apple's iPhone 17 series. That's going by a photo of dummy phones shared by leaker and journalist Sonny Dickson, who has a pretty good track record for sourcing accurate Apple and Samsung phone designs.
