A British toddler has been kidnapped from Marbella, Spain and there is growing fears he has been "taken to Russia." The boy has only been named as Oliver P, he disappeared on 4 July and was kidnapped by his Russian mother on the Costa del Sol. Spain's National Police confirmed the boy was kidnapped and that he is British and was staying at a holiday resort, a spokesperson said a police report was filed that claims the mother took the boy.

The arrests marked a grim end of a week-long search for Haro that generated national attention and sparked much online sleuthing. Authorities said they now believe Emmanuel is dead and are still searching for his body.
Rebecca Haro stopped cooperating with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department after, while under questioning, investigators pointed out inconsistencies with the story she told about the August 14 kidnapping of baby Emmanuel Haro. She claimed that she had been assaulted and knocked unconscious by a male suspect outside a Big 5 Sporting Goods in Yucaipa, and that her infant had been kidnapped.
