There were some doubts in the build-up to the game about whether Christian Pulisic would recover in time for the trip to the capital. He missed the league game against Lazio on Saturday night after complaining of muscle fatigue last week, so the staff didn't take any chances. After only doing part of Tuesday's session with the rest of the squad, the doubts continued regarding his presence for the 'rematch' in Rome. Now, some positive news has emerged from this morning's training at Milanello.

AC Milan are currently expected to be without star man Christian Pulisic for Saturday's game at San Siro against Lazio. As La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) report this morning, there's some concern at Milan regarding Pulisic's condition, as he pulled out of training yesterday with muscle discomfort in the second session since his derby heroics on Sunday. It's unlikely to be anything serious for the American, but the situation will be monitored with the utmost caution given his importance.

Rafael Leao will play an important role for AC Milan in tomorrow's derby against Inter, as despite being young, he's the most experienced derby man on the team. Today's edition of Gazzetta dello Sport (see the features image) has focused on the battle of the No.10s, namely Lautaro Martinez for Inter and Rafael Leao for Milan. The latter has featured in an impressive 20 derbies so far, making tomorrow's clash his 21st.
