With SNAP benefits disrupted, more than 40 million Americans are having a harder time than usual putting food on the table. Food banks say they're already seeing a surge in visitors, and they're sharing the things they'd most like to see donated, if you're in the position to help people in your community in need.

"Bikes make the most sense" as they allow faster delivery by bypassing congestion, said Cyndi Gilbert, a board member at Bike Brigade, whereas using a car poses additional challenges including parking.

Every Friday from 11am to 5 pm, customers can order off the Taco Love menu and pay anywhere from $0 up to $10. When a customer pays the full price of $10, TATO will give a free meal to someone in need in The City.

Ava Sender Logan, who won the Double Gloucester cheese in a traditional race, donated her prize to the Refugee Community Kitchen to support those in need.

TATO's 'Taco Love' special features a two taco plate with sides and allows customers to pay what they can, supporting the community amid restaurant struggles.
