Davide Bartesaghi is AC Milan's starting left-back; there is no doubt about that and it seems difficult to imagine a situation where he is replaced. In the summer, it seemed like Bartesaghi would be an option for Massimiliano Allegri. Perhaps he could be a little more, but very few probably expected him to be the starting choice. Yet, here we are and Milan would not have it any other way as it stands.
