The UK medical landscape has moved dramatically in the last twelve months, showing a clear move away from fad diets and toward regulated, injectable treatments. This shift is not staying local; it's already visible across London clinics and private healthcare providers, where demand has accelerated sharply over the past year.
Our manifesto sets out a new direction for Wales one rooted in fairness but driven by ambition. We will take action where it is needed most - cutting NHS waiting times, supporting parents with the cost of childcare, raising standards in our schools, and growing a stronger Welsh economy that works for our communities.
James Short, who runs Adventure Pirate near Lytchett Minster, had introduced the three pigs to a plot of land adjacent to his education business, which previously housed animals. However, when he began advertising "pig walking" and "pig therapy" for his predominantly child customers on social media, Dorset Council intervened.
Ross Drysdale, 73, constructed the sheltered walkway at his Christchurch bungalow in October 2024, aiming to provide his wife, Victoria, with greater independence following a severe stroke. I met Carole Guscott, a retired former carer, on a clear winter's morning in the Somerset town of Minehead. She was walking her whippet, Gracie, on the way back to her new flat, past the local Premier Inn and on to a cul de sac called Rainbow Way. I knew as soon as I saw it, she told me. At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
A proposal to build 15,000 new homes on a brownfield site at Thamesmead has been shortlisted as one of 12 "new towns" across the country to help meet house-building targets. The plan was given a boost last year with the Chancellor backing a Docklands Light Railway (DLR) extension to the area, but the scheme is still waiting formal government approval.
I think perhaps there is some work to be done in supporting and helping our councils to understand what powers they do have. And how they might use them going forward in this new world - where we are beginning to look quite seriously at proper devolution down to parish council level.
