President Donald Trump plans to use a key address Wednesday to try to convince Americans he can make housing more affordable, but he's picked a strange backdrop for the speech: a Swiss mountain town where ski chalets for vacations cost a cool $4.4 million.On the anniversary of his inauguration, Trump is flying to the World Economic Forum in Davos - an annual gathering of the global elite - where he may see many of the billionaires he has surrounded himself with during his first year back in the White House.
First, it's about standing with survivors. I've met personally some of the women who were raped and abused at the age of 13 or 14. They have been silenced and discarded by our country for over a decade, and anyone who hears their stories is determined to fight for accountability. And it's beyond Epstein-we have a culture of abuse of girls and women, and we need to grapple with that.
Young voters are primarily concerned about affordability—rising costs of housing, food, and education—over international issues, signaling a need for Democrats to address economic populism.
