The Oregon Historical Society's exhibit, '101 at 100: The History of Oregon's Most Iconic Highway,' features historical photographs, artifacts, and modern artistic photos by Peter Marbach. It depicts how the highway reshaped the coast and prompts visitors to consider the ongoing influence of movement and infrastructure on travel and living along Oregon's shores.

The lantern slides are transparent photographs or paintings on glass plates designed to be projected onto a screen using an early slide projector. They were sitting in three plastic tubs in a Fuertes office.

"Over the years, we would show them to different people who came to the house. And a lot of people wouldn't finish looking at them," Orce said.

New Shepard is a fully reusable suborbital rocket system developed by Blue Origin, designed to take passengers on short trips to the edge of space. Since its first launch in 2015, it has carried 98 people beyond the Kármán line, including William Shatner, who became the oldest person to travel to space when he flew in 2021.

The exhibit "Past as Prologue: The Last Decade of Furniture Design by Ray and Charles Eames (1968-1978)" focuses on office furniture designed for the white-collar workforce, emphasizing modularity and visual authority.

"Before it was like I'm starving and I don't know how to make money, but I'm staying up all night reading this history that nobody cares about."

Jansson's work aligns closely with our mission to foster understanding, curiosity and the importance of storytelling, especially in accessible, public forums.

We're very excited here at Filoli to have the trolls here for the summer and fall. It's all about one thing: getting to know the playful giant trolls.

"I grew up to the sounds of fire engines and bulldozers as block after block of viable housing went up in flames or was reduced to rubble under the treads of heavy machinery. None of the structures in my photographs has survived."
