Faberge's legendary Winter Egg to go on public display in London before 20 million auction

1913 Winter Egg by Alma Pihl will be exhibited at Christie's before a sale expected to fetch at least £20 million.

The 1913 Fabergé Winter Egg, an imperial Easter gift, is expected to sell for more than $20 million at Christie's London auction on December 2.

Faberge has been sold to SMG Capital for $50 million after Gemfields struggled financially.

Major artworks are being acquired by prominent institutions globally.
