A man in his 30s has died after he was hit by a police vehicle on an emergency call in south London. The pedestrian was struck by the marked vehicle on Borough High Street at 00:34 GMT, the Metropolitan Police said. He was given emergency first aid by officers and treated by paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, but died at the scene.
A Sonoma County fire engine was involved in a crash Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 11, in Windsor while responding to another collision, a department spokesperson said. LFB Dozens of firefighters have extinguished a fire in the basement of a data centre in east London. London Fire Brigade (LFB) said around 60 firefighters and eight fire engines were called to Nutmeg Lane, Blackwall at 04:50 GMT on Saturday. The first blaze broke out shortly before 6 p.m. Friday at 301 Pennsylvania Ave. in East New York, where members of the 15th Division arrived to find heavy fire on the first floor and extension to the second.
