Ballard Power Systems signed an agreement with New Flyer to supply 500 fuel cell bus engines totaling 50 MW, with deliveries beginning in 2026.

TPER will deploy 127 hydrogen buses in Bologna by end of May, representing 12% of the fleet, with operational experience already gained from 10 buses running in Ferrara.
