Going to school has become one of the riskiest things a child can do. Why? Unbelievably, someone in America is today planning an assault on a school district that we won't identify until more children are dead.

On Wednesday, we heard about another killing and wounding of children and adults as their Minneapolis school, Annunciation, began its school year at mass. California has 43 Democrats and nine Republicans in Congress. The new congressional maps Newsom is asking voters to approve (maps that were created in secret with no public input) have the goal of having 48 Democrats and 4 Republican members of Congress. In the 2024 election, Trump won 38% of the California vote. If Newsom has his way, the 4 Republicans would only make up 8% of the California congressional delegation.

Now look, folks, I'm sick and tired of this Democratic Party bringing a pencil to a knife fight. California Governor Gavin Newsom is advocating for a political strategy that involves gerrymandering congressional districts to favor Democrats in order to combat Trump's influence.

Stanford will maintain preferential admissions for children of wealthy donors and alumni despite new state laws intended to eliminate such practices, impacting state grants.

"We're doing it in reaction to that act. We're doing it mindful of our higher angels, and better angels. We're doing it mindful that we want to model better behavior, as we've been doing for 15 years in the state of California," Newsom said, referring to the state's popular independent redistricting commission.

During Newsom's remarks, he noted that federal border agents were outside the venue, eliciting boos from the gathered Democrats.

"When you look at 435 House seats, only 35 were decided by five points or less last November. I won by six and a half points."

The Supreme Court's rulings have greatly influenced the landscape of redistricting, shaping how political boundaries are drawn both strategically and in response to demographic changes.
