Maine is known for its fresh seafood, specifically lobster, and has many other foods native to its culinary culture that are unbreakably tied to the state.

It was fun. That was my first time going to St. Patrick's Day. I didn't know it was like a big thing. It felt like there was like a million people out there. It was a lot of people out there. It was cold, and it was early, and it felt like the whole city was drunk, but I had a good time just to go out and say hello to the people of Boston and things like that.

That can mean starting the day off with delicious breakfast in bed. Muffins can be prepared in advance and are easy to enjoy in hand for a breakfast that involves lounging and love. In her opinion, all the extra work didn't justify the time, mess, and effort.

Tanya Holland, especially among Bay Area foodies, needs no introduction. She's the award-winning celebrity chef behind Oakland's Brown Sugar Kitchen, B-Side BBQ and Town Fare, and the author of multiple cookbooks. She competed on Top Chef, hosted Tanya's Kitchen Table on the Oprah Winfrey Network and today serves on the James Beard Foundation's Awards Committee. For the Super Bowl this year, she'll be at a cousin's 80th birthday party.
