"If you look at my career before [I played for] Northern Ireland I didn't score many goals at all," Price told BBC Sport NI. "I had 18 months or so where I only scored one goal and I probably played a little bit deeper and probably didn't believe that I had the goals in me. "Michael told me he thought I'm an attacking threat, I should get in the box and then I had 12 months where the ball wouldn't stop going into the net. "I think it's the freedom that the manager gives me. I'm in a position where I'm always in and around the box and I get a lot of chances."
[I enjoyed playing] anywhere really, anywhere across the midfield or forward line. I was at my best when just going to play and I'd pop up on the left or the right and I'd pop up behind midfielders at times. Just playing, being on the pitch in the attacking third, that was what I liked and enjoyed -- if you wanted one position, then probably the No. 10.
Fermín López is a fan favorite at Barcelona for a reason. He is a no nonsense player. Against Olympiacos, he put on a masterclass of how to score goals. It doesn't require fancy moves, it requires hunger and killer instinct. Fermín seems to always know where the ball is going to drop inside of box, and when the opportunity arrives, he is the first to react.
The Champions League returns this week with plenty of strikers hoping to add to their goalscoring tally. For this week's big Tuesday quiz we want you to name every player who has scored at least 25 goals in the Champions League or its predecessor, the European Cup. How many players can you name? There's no time limit on this one. Good luck!
On Sunday it took a second-half strike from distance from Keira Walsh for Tottenham to be dispatched 1-0, while Chelsea dropped points for the first time this season in drawing 1-1 with Manchester United the previous weekend.
"[I don't] think any comparison to Alex is favourable to any player," said Howe. "I'm excited by the team we can be. We have certainly got things to learn about each other and formulas to try and generate that we know will work. The biggest thing is the foundation is solid. The team's playing at strength, but we're just missing that X-factor that I think will come."
