2025 has undeniably been the year of AI agents. Coming into the year, it was nearly impossible to tune into any conversation in the tech ecosystem without hearing the agent buzzword thrown around. In an attempt to gain my own understanding of this new space, I started reading up on AI, machine learning, and agents. This led me to Mastra, an open-source framework for building AI agents. The best part was that it's built in my go-to language, TypeScript.

Just over a hundred visitors had crowded into an office building in the Duboce Triangle neighborhood for a showdown that would pit teams armed with AI coding tools against those made up of only humans (all were asked to ditch their shoes at the door). The hackathon was dubbed "Man vs. Machine," and its goal was to test whether AI really does help people code faster-and better.

The AI tools utilized during the hackathon allowed the team to experiment with creating a new website for 'Intercom Design', showcasing case studies and inspirations.

0G Labs committed $5,000 in prizes to the three hackathon teams that showcased the most innovative use of the 0G ecosystem.
