A house that sold for $5 million tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in San Jose in the past week. The area saw a total of 50 residential real estate sales during the past week, averaging $1.5 million, or $960 per square foot. The prices in the list below include real estate sales where the title was recorded during the week of Dec. 8 even if the property may have been sold earlier.
