As much as I'd love to have furniture custom-made for my space, that isn't really in my budget. Luckily the right IKEA piece can achieve a similarly stylish effect - for a way more manageable price. Take, for example, the HOLMERUD side table. It's meant to be tucked at the end of your sofa, sure - but you can also arrange several end-to-end along the back of your couch to create a striking storage unit.

As I said, IKEA's FADO table lamp design is not entirely new. TikTok fell in love with the vintage-inspired piece a few years ago, and we've been FADO fans ever since. Shopping for budget-friendly furniture that's also stylish and durable is a daunting task, but not impossible - as long as you know where to look. We're talking, of course, about IKEA. Although it's an obvious choice, IKEA is as popular as it is for a reason, and it should be at the top of your shopping list if you're looking to save on a larger furniture item that otherwise would be a huge investment.
