Since the 1990s, a largely underground upwelling of trans creativity has helped new trans identities, communities, and political movements come together. Trans Cinema provides an entryway to the wildly diverse and creative cinema made by trans creators, including those who are BIPOC.

A new campaign from GLAAD aims to spotlight queer married couples, asking for submissions from those whose lives have been made better by having the legal right to marry. GLAAD I Found You uplifts "married queer couples finding each other and celebrating joy, the same as any other couple who decides to make this life-changing commitment."
LGBTQ+ rights group GLAAD reported a staggering 268 anti-LGBTQ+ incidents across the country in June 2025 alone - a nearly 400 per cent increase compared to the last few years. The media advocacy organisation documented more than 1,000 anti-LGBTQ+ incidents nationwide as part of its annual extremism report. Published on Tuesday (27 January), GLAAD's ALERT Desk tracked 128 acts of vandalism, 76 violent assaults, 22 threats of mass violence and 15 arson attempts, and more.
