The Ascent is an isometric shooter set on the planet Veles, ruled by the Ascent Group. When the Group goes bankrupt, chaos ensues with crime syndicates and rival corporations seeking power.

BioWare's Anthem will officially shut down on January 12, 2026, and once the servers go offline, the game will no longer be playable.

Even the raids, many of which have been re-engineered in Destiny 2, take on a different flavor with the streamlined shooter kits and gear of the first game.
