This morning's edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Gerry Cardinale is willing to satisfy the demands that Allegri has in order to keep him as the head coach of Milan for 2026-27 and potentially beyond. The owner is happy with the work he has done in year one and with a Champions League return hopefully secured on Sunday, they can begin planning for the future. However there remains a lot of noise in the background about Allegri's possible exit.
Lazio are beginning to worry about the future of full-back Adam Marusic, and his agents have apparently offered him to AC Milan. According to TMW, Maurizio Sarri is calling for Marusic's renewal, but the two sides are still far apart. This is because the Lazio defender has requested a long-term contract from the Biancoceleste, but Claudio Lotito has no intention of going beyond a one-year contract with an option for another.
