The MTA plans to extend Metro-North Railroad service north to the Albany area, offering a once-a-day round trip between Grand Central Terminal and the Capital Region. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul on Monday announced the northward expansion will launch in the spring, noting it will be the first commuter train service between Grand Central and Albany-Rensselaer since 1967. The new trip will serve as an alternative to Amtrak trains that run between Manhattan Penn Station and the Capital Region.

Video circulating on social media shows O'Keefe yelling at police and pointing at passengers on board the train. I haven't done anything illegal, O'Keefe says in the video as police tell him to stop resisting as they cuff his wrists.
