Chloe Trujillo, the wife of Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo, has released "As the Sky Is Falling Down" - the lead single from her forthcoming Rebirth EP, out in early 2026. Like her husband, Chloe also dabbles in a heavy sound. Here, she evokes a power-metal level of grandeur via her operatic vocals and surges of gained-up guitars and cacophonous percussion, while the spoken-word bit in the bridge wouldn't be out of place in an Iron Maiden song. The four-and-a-half minute track and EP were produced by Jake Carmona.
Redveil and Smino have come together for " Brown Sugar," their first collaborative track. Watch the single's new music video, directed by Tyler Shuler, below. Redveil produced "Brown Sugar," and it has additional keyboards, strings, and synthesizers by Johnny May, choir vocals led by Faith Carey, guitar by Keelan Walters, and additional vocals by Allayna O'Quinn. "Brown Sugar" follows Redveil's April single " Square One."

Charlotte Gainsbourg is back with her first new song in years. Blurry Moon, produced and arranged by SebastiAn, follows Gainsbourg 2018 EP, Take 2, and standout 2017 album, Rest. It comes with a music video directed by Saint Laurent's creative director, Anthony Vaccarello. The visual, co-produced by Saint Laurent and Because Music, finds Gainsbourg riding around in a nice car on Los Angeles' Mulholland Drive.
"Lou Reed Was My Babysitter" is about "the joy in this dark music that Lou Reed made, and the beautiful conflict that it creates when you try and analyze it," Tweedy said in a statement. "And how it was such a positive force for so many people. 'My life was saved by rock'n'roll'-Lou Reed is saying the same thing. I was babysat by fucking Lou Reed, literally, in my bedroom as a 10-year-old, 12-year-old kid. His music was a more legitimate mentor to me than most of my teachers."

As the two frolic around Lisbon, practically effervescing with good cheer and a desire to connect with others, they facilitate a diverse and joyful group of people who gather in a court.

Kai Slater, of the Chicago rock trio Lifeguard, has announced a new album from his bedroom pop project Sharp Pins: Balloon Balloon Balloon is out November 21 (via K/ Perennial). He recorded it at his Chicago home and with Hayes Waring at the producer's Olympia, Washington, studio, Mobile Control.

Nine-time NBA All-Star guard Russell Westbrook has a cameo in Ciara's new "Dance With Me" music video, which was released Friday. At the two-minute mark, Westbrook and Ciara, who is married to New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson, dance while seated in chairs in front of the iconic Randy's Donuts in Inglewood, California. Ciara teamed up with Tyga on the track, which appears on her new album "CiCi," released Friday.
Show Me The Body are getting an early start on celebrating a decade of their debut album, 2016's Body War, and releasing a tenth anniversary edition on October 17 via Loma Vista. To go with that, they've shared a new recording of "One Train" off their 2014 EP Yellow Kidney, and a new video directed by the band's Julian Cashwan Pratt and CORPUS' Asha Maura. Watch that below.
