Sales are a function, while commercialization is a system of decisions that defines sustainable business growth.
"Converse's issue is that it is iconic and it has not been able to shift and morph the consumer's impression of the brand enough to allow for SKU expansion," said Yates Jarvis, founder and principal of the e-commerce agency 2 Visions.
"I saw people who never knew each other [before] meet at the event and develop strong relationships. A lot of people came just to watch and be part of that community. That's when I knew this was special."
Michelladonna goes around the world to celebrate the cats who live and work in bodegas, corner stores, and repair shops on her show, Shop Cats. It's a habit you might expect from a Gen Xer or elder millennial clinging to analog comfort. Rachmansky is neither. He's 24, and the company he founded about five years ago generated $40 million in sales revenue in 2025 (confirmed from documents reviewed by Business Insider).
