LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Rams safety Quentin Lake had surgery on his elbow after leaving the team's Week 11 victory over the Seattle Seahawks with the injury, a source confirmed to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Rams hope Lake can return from injury before or during the playoffs, the source told Schefter. Before his injury on Sunday, Lake had played every defensive snap for the Rams this season. The versatile safety is currently on the last season of his rookie deal.
ASHBURN, Va. -- Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels suffered no ligament damage in his dislocated left elbow and won't be placed on injured reserve, multiple sources told ESPN. Daniels' injury will not require surgery. He'll be re-evaluated during Washington's bye week following its Week 11 matchup vs. Miami in Madrid. Daniels suffered the injury in Sunday's 38-14 loss to Seattle when his left arm bent backwards at the end of a sack with 7 minutes, 39 seconds left in the game.
