Larsson, one of the Heat's most important reserves, left Tuesday's game in the second quarter after incidentally stepping on Andrew Wiggins' ankle. The injury occurred after a made basket from Wendell Carter Jr., where Larsson was helped off the court by his teammates. He was unable to put weight on his ankle. Thankfully, for Larsson and the Heat, they will be getting plenty of rest over the next two weeks.
Munster senior coach Mike Prendergast is optimistic that Jack Crowley, Jean Kleyn and Michael Milne will be available for Saturday's historic Champions Cup clash with Gloucester at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- The Cincinnati Bengals suspended Jermaine Burton for Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills in the latest development for the beleaguered wide receiver. The team made the announcement roughly 90 minutes before the scheduled kickoff at Highmark Stadium, a day after they had ruled him out for the game for non-injury reasons. He did not make the trip to Buffalo with the rest of the team. By suspending Burton, he will not receive a game check for the contest.
Luka Doncic was removed from the team's status report entering Sunday's game at Philadelphia after the Lakers superstar and his fiancee announced the birth of their second child Saturday. Doncic missed the last two games, but before Friday's game against Boston, coach JJ Redick was open to the possibility of him rejoining the team in time for Sunday's road trip finale.
Herbert, who underwent surgery on his fractured left (non-throwing) hand Monday after sustaining the break last week against Las Vegas, was listed as questionable against Philadelphia after being limited across three days of practice. The Chargers quarterback was being handed the ball as he aligned under center during practice, with a cast and wrap over his left hand. Herbert appeared to comfortably catch the ball on shotgun snaps during throwing drills Saturday.

Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo is reportedly set to miss Saturday's La Liga clash with Alaves for Hansi Flick's side. The Uruguay international was sent off in midweek against Chelsea in the Champions League defeat and has not been in full training for the last two days, according to AS. There's no word yet on why Araujo has not been training with the train. AS note that Araujo is also "still very upset" about his red card at Stamford Bridge and claim a break may do him good.
He comes bearing mixed tidings for Liverpool fans ahead of their match against Nottingham Forest at Anfield tomorrow. A quick summary: Alisson has fully recovered from his hamstring injury, but Conor Bradley and Jeremie Frimpong will be out for at least three weeks. Florian Wirtz is also unavailable, while Joe Gomez missed training yesterday but should be OK for today.
Forest will be without full-back Ola Aina, who has a hamstring injury, so former Arsenal man Oleksandr Zinchenko could start if he is fit enough. Midfielder Douglas Luiz is a doubt with a hamstring issue of his own. Chelsea remain without playmaker Cole Palmer who has a groin injury and remains a big loss. Maresca has many injury problems after international duty, with Liam Delap (hamstring), Levi Colwill (knee) and Mykhaylo Mudryk long-term absentees.
CeeDee Lamb (ankle) was back at practice on Wednesday and was seen participating in team activities, earning a limited designation. Guard Tyler Booker (ankle) was ramping up and was a limited participant. Return specialist KaVontae Turpin (foot) was back at practice also as a limited participant and is looking on track to return versus Washington. Plus, Marshawn Kneeland (ankle), you guessed it, was limited on Wednesday. Donovan Wilson (elbow/knee) and Jack Sanborn (concussion) were both... limited.
"Although these circumstances were unfortunate, it is critical for availability reports to be accurate," a Big Ten spokesperson said. "Consequently, the conference is imposing a $5,000 fine and admonishes all institutions to use the "out" designation only if there are no circumstances under which a student-athlete could participate in a game. The conference considers the matter closed and will have no further comment."
McVay said the Rams were encouraged by the scan results. "Whether that means he's able to play like the guy we're accustomed to seeing on Sunday will be a weekly process for us," McVay said during a videoconference with reporters, adding, "There is nothing on the scan that looks like it's going to be long term. The uncertainty of this week is a real thing."
"Definitely looking at which direction it goes, preparing for either scenario, opponent, travel, stay here," Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said. "I wouldn't say difficult. It's certainly nice to get a couple days to reset and prepare. "We're kind of doing our due diligence and having one-off team meetings until locking in after this game tonight."
CINCINNATI -- New Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco will have one of the NFL's best receivers as a target for his debut with the club. All-Pro wideout Ja'Marr Chase is expected to play on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, sources told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Chase was officially listed as questionable for this weekend's road contest after he suffered an illness on Thursday. He participated in the team's walkthrough on Friday morning before being sent home for the team's practice, coach Zac Taylor said.
I've read several articles that have been damaging to me. I know I've had bad matches, I'm aware of that. I'm not hiding anything, and I'm open about it. I'm truly sad. You can say many things about me, but under no circumstances can you say I refuse to play. I've given everything and more for this club. I've played through fractures and injuries, and I've never complained or asked for a break.
The Buffalo Bills will continue to be without two starters on defense as both defensive tackle Ed Oliver (left ankle) and linebacker Matt Milano (pectoral) were ruled out of Sunday's game vs. the New Orleans Saints by coach Sean McDermott. Right tackle Spencer Brown (calf) and defensive end AJ Epenesa (pectoral) will be questionable vs. the Saints (1 p.m. ET, CBS).
ASHBURN, Va. -- Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels said he feels good and more like himself -- but that doesn't mean he'll play at the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. "It's up to the doctors, not my decision," Daniels said. Daniels was limited in practice Wednesday after not participating last week before sitting out a 41-24 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
Running back Austin Ekeler and defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr. both suffered season-ending injuries. Star quarterback Jayden Daniels was diagnosed with a knee sprain, with his status for this weekend's clash against the Las Vegas Raiders now in doubt. Tight end John Bates is likely to miss the game due to a groin injury. After lucking out with availability last season and experiencing very few concerns in Week 1, it's already next man up for the Commanders at multiple positions.
