Dallas has a strong offensive line with depth, leaving late roster spots competitive for backup blockers like Drew Shelton, T.J. Bass, and Trevor Keegan.
Will Harris' return from injury was always going to come with collateral damage. As it turned out, Darnell Savage Jr. was the Washington Commanders' odd man out in their safety room. Savage was a healthy scratch against the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football. This didn't sit well with the defensive back, and he asked for his release. The Commanders granted his wish, putting him on the waiver wire to see if someone else would take the plunge.
The New England Patriots have been consistently tied to nearly every available top wide receiver over the last five years, whether it be during free agency or ahead of the trade deadline. That's no different, even this season, despite having a receiving corps outperforming all expectations, led by Kayshon Boutte and Stefon Diggs. It explains why there will inevitably be an interest in former WR1 Brandin Cooks, who requested his release from the New Orleans Saints this week, and is now headed to waivers.
