In the video, Pei confirms that there will be no new flagship launch this year, with the Phone (3) set to continue as Nothing's flagship for 2026. The company will, however, introduce a new model in its (a) series. Pei revealed that Nothing plans to launch a significantly upgraded Phone (4a) later this year. According to Pei, the Phone (4a) aims to deliver a flagship-like experience, complete with premium materials and a bold new design where the brand will experiment with new colors.
Another alternative brand is Nothing - its first flagship isn't as powerful as we might have hoped, but at least now its price reflects that. And it's available now. The Nothing Phone (3) has a 6.67" 120Hz OLED display (1260p+, LTPS), a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and a 5,150mAh battery (65W wired, 15W wireless). The phone has four 50MP cameras - 1/1.3" main, 3x periscope and 114° ultra-wide on the back, plus the selfie camera.
You can pick up the base 12/256GB unit for $700 and the upgrade to 16/512GB is $100 more. Even though it is a previous gen chip, the Snapdragon 8 Elite is still one of the fastest around and the 6.82" 1440p+ LTPO OLED is great. The phone is equipped with three 50MP cameras on the back, including a main with a 1/1.43" sensor and a 3x/73mm periscope. This part is arguably better than the OnePlus 15.
Manually adjusting the exposure slider is now smoother and more precise. Fixed an issue that caused unwanted tint in certain scenes, delivering more natural and balanced colours. Updated AI SuperRes Zoom algorithm to improve sharpness of texts. Improved Action Mode to reduce noise grains. Improved camera clarity for third-party apps. Improved Video Shooting: Videos now have better contrast and look less hazy and more vibrant.
The images in question, which include a woman, a car headlight, a spiral staircase, a glass, and a window, were licensed stock photos and not, as the company stated, "what our community has captured with the Phone (3)." Roman Fox, a photographer who captured the car headlight image, confirmed that Nothing had paid for his image through Stills, which was taken two years ago in Paris with a Fujifilm XH2s camera, and not with a phone, let alone a Nothing Phone 3.
The updated Essential Space for Nothing's Phone (3) series includes Google Calendar integration, enabling users to sync tasks with their calendar effortlessly. Editable Memory feature allows users to review AI-generated summaries, promoting personalization.
