Today I firmly inform the Bolivian people of my decision to decline my candidacy for presidential re-election in the elections next August. I do so with the clearest conviction that I will not be a factor in dividing the popular vote, much less facilitate the making of a fascist right-wing project that seeks to destroy the plurinational state.

The interim government of Bangladesh banned all activities of the Awami League under the Anti-Terrorism Act, which follows widespread protests against the party's leadership. This measure aims to investigate the killings of protesters during student-led uprisings.

This discordance is of course especially powerful at Harvard, the current epicenter of a ferocious and lawless attack on higher education that might make Viktor Orbán blush.

The Democratic Unionist Party has been through waves of turmoil, with leadership battles and unexpected scandals, yet nothing was as shocking as the accusations against Jeffrey Donaldson.

It's been very, very uncertain for us. My studies have stopped, and I worry about my family and friends. The future feels bleak.
