Pop Culture Jeopardy! is moving to Netflix and will release new episodes daily for its second season starting May 11.
I want to grow brands that I'm passionate about, and dirty soda has always been a part of my life. It wasn't just this viral moment that people who watch Secret Lives saw. It was something that's more sustainable.
I love Trixie Mattel. I mean, I'm a big fan of Drag Race, but I think Trixie is kind of a unique brand. And, we were thinking, 'Who would be on The Traitors? And, you know, they always pick a drag queen. And, I thought, 'Well, if we have a choice, let's ask Trixie.'
A time jump resets this show's character dynamics with Rue (Zendaya) working off her debt to a drug dealer and seemingly nearly all the series' other female characters engaged in sex work of some kind. Sam Levinson's vision of a woman's life is pretty depressing.
"'The Life of a Showgirl' was really inspired by the energy that I felt like looking into crowds and seeing you guys every single night. This album probably also feels very happy and confident and free because that's the way that I get to feel every single day of my life because of my fiancé, who's here tonight."
Lady Gaga, Blackpink singer Jisoo and comic Trevor Noah are among the celebrities revealing their all-time favourite Pokémon as part of the Japanese media franchise's 30th birthday celebrations. In a minute-long advert that played during last night's (8 February) Super Bowl 60, singing sensation Lady Gaga declared that, unsurprisingly, her favourite Pokémon is fellow singing sensation, Jigglypuff. "She has a 12 octave vocal range," Gaga explained, adding: "Jigglypuff is my favourite." Gaga was then joined by the cutesy pink creature for a brief duet, in which the pair sang the Pokémon's name in unison. "She uses her voice to protect herself," Gaga added.
And by "Who-dom," I don't mean the Seussian variety but the taxonomy coined by 's Lindsey Weber and Bobby Finger: the vast, sub-stratospheric tier of celebrity occupied by figures whose fame is intensely meaningful to some and virtually nonexistent to everyone else. Whos are defined in opposition to Thems, the indisputable celebrities known to most except those living under a rock or who willingly reject the very notion of pop culture,
The truest thing ever said about the Golden Globes was by Tina Fey when she hosted the awards in 2019 and described the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, a group of junket hacks, as operating out of the back booth of a French McDonalds. The HFPA was disbanded in 2023 after allegations of racism, but 95 former members retained voting rights and on Monday, the show went on.
Like those, it scours our culture's incessant preoccupation with physical beauty, both the lusting for it and the lengths we will go to get and keep it. But The Beauty possess a mind of its own as it expounds on rich themes that Murphy's been interested in, mixing humor with black humor while he comments on sinfully glamorous lifestyles and the dark side of human nature and desire.
The result was a clunky moment in which Cher was brought out to present the award for Record of the Year before Trevor Noah interrupted her to hand over her lifetime-achievement award. Whether or not the Grammys intended for her to make a speech was unclear, but she did nonetheless, and rightfully so! "Thank you, I guess I'm supposed to walk off now. All right," she drifted, before being intercepted
I remember adults coming up to me and saying, 'Ohhh, Medeiros! Like Glenn Medeiros, the guy who sang that love song!' And then they start singing it in front of me," Lyric tells TODAY.com. "Older women would come up to me and say, 'Oh, he was a heartthrob!'
Madonna, Confessions Tour 2006 at Wembley Arena in London. It was the first concert I had ever went to on my own, as the tickets even back then were so expensive and none of my friends wanted to go. Before it started I went to a shoddy, back street pub nearby and had three pints of beer to build up some Dutch courage.
As he held his Grammy in one hand, he brought his other to his eyes, overcome with emotion. The singer said he had never written a speech in his life, but yesterday he decided to write one in anticipation of the award, as a tear began to stream down his face. Another tear appeared on the other side of his face as he opened up about his gratitude for his mother, who had just retired as a registered nurse in a psych ward.
The gays' favorite season - awards - continued last night as the biggest names in music gathered at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles for the 68th Annual Grammy Awards. It was a big evening for politics, pop girls, and performances as The Recording Academy honored the best tunes of the past year, presided over by Trevor Noah, who hosted the grand event for the sixth and final time.
