NJ Transit is reportedly planning to increase train ticket prices from New York City to MetLife Stadium to over $100 during the World Cup, a significant rise from the current $12.90 fare. The agency has not finalized these prices, which has raised concerns among commuters about the financial implications of the event.
The High Court on Monday, Judge Richard Humphreys made orders on consent striking out the cases brought by various businesses, including the owners of the Manhattan Peanuts factory on McKee Avenue in Finglas.
"Our business community will also benefit from Sunday metering because it encourages parking turnover, allowing more customers to visit these establishments," said Josh Rowan, the transportation director, in a city press release.
Senate Bill 1167 has received the most favorable press, based on the understanding that the e-bike problem is actually an e-moto problem.
