"Megadeth Day" Declared in City of La Vergne, Tennessee

January 17th, 2026 was officially declared " Megadeth Day" in La Vergne, Tennessee, with the band appearing in-person for a ceremony at city hall on Friday. Megadeth were in town for "Let There Be Shred: The Ultimate Megadeth Immersive Listening Event," which was hosted at the recording studio in La Vergne where Megadeth recorded their self-titled final album (Dave Mustaine and his family reside in nearby Williamson County, roughly 30 minutes from Nashville).

Life-size animal puppets to stampede through London next month

Life-size puppet animals will parade in London to raise climate change awareness, starting on June 27.
