The playoff picture is becoming clearer with four weeks left in the 2025 NFL regular season. Nine teams have already been eliminated from the playoffs, but no teams have clinched a postseason berth. That could change this weekend.
Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold, who had played at a near-MVP level this season for the most part, did absolutely nothing to help his team and plenty to hurt them. Darnold matched his career high with four interceptions, completing 29 of 44 passes for 279 yards, no touchdowns, those picks, and a passer rating of 45.5. The last time Darnold faced the Rams it was when he was with the Minnesota Vikings in last season's playoffs, and he endured a 60-minute nightmare.
Midnight Mode, indeed. On the day the Rams donned black uniforms for the first and only time this season, the offense largely went dark. Red-hot quarterback Matthew Stafford cooled. Star receivers Davante Adams and Puka Nacua struggled to consistently make the clutch plays that they often make look routine. But safety Kamren Kinchens and the Rams' defense managed to keep the Seattle Seahawks at bay - just barely.
