Umran Nasser, 54, is accused of touching two women on a Turkish Airlines flight from Istanbul to London on November 25 last year. Nasser, of Wanstead Park Road, Ilford, east London, pleaded not guilty at Isleworth Crown Court on Friday.
Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Curtis Farber made the announcement in a hearing where Weinstein formally swapped in a new legal team from Agnifilo Intrater on Wednesday morning. The trio of lawyers representing Weinstein are Jacob Kaplan, Marc Agnifilo and Teny Geragos, two of whom are representing Luigi Mangione in his state and federal murder cases.

On Jan. 13, the council's panel had said it accepted the majority of allegations made in a complaint to the council against Currie and he was found to have engaged in judicial misconduct. "Since Justice Currie is no longer a judge of that court, the Council no longer has jurisdiction over the complaint about his conduct. As a result, the hearing on the appropriate disposition of the complaint will not proceed," the council says on its website.
An Ontario judge has dismissed billionaire businessman Frank Stronach's bid to quash his committal to stand trial on one of the dozen charges he faces in his Toronto sexual assault case. Stronach, 93, was committed to stand trial on 12 charges following a preliminary hearing in April. The charges stem from alleged incidents dating back decades. His lawyers challenged the decision regarding one charge, but the motion was rejected Monday after submissions by the defence and the Crown.
