While a highly anticipated heavyweight title fight between champion Reug Reug and Anatoly Malykhin dropped off the card, with the champ in a serious car accident recently, there was still plenty of action to behold for fans in Tokyo and watching at home. That included two title fights in MMA, and a kickboxing title unification bout in the main event, as Thailand's Superbon takes on Japan's on Masaaki Noiri for featherweight gold.
RIZIN Fighting Federation returned to action on Sunday with the massive RIZIN 51 card in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. Two title fights, the heavyweight world grand prix final, and the second round of the flyweight grand prix made RIZIN 51 must-see TV for fight fans (and if we're being honest, vastly superior on paper to UFC Perth, which preceded it).
