You would love to have more time in the environment, more time practising, but I guess I was pretty much handed the schedule to try and turn it around.

A points failure at West Drayton has resulted in delays on the Elizabeth line this morning. There are also delays on the District and Windrush lines, while a points failure at Victoria also means there is a reduced service on the Gatwick Express.

The closure won't start until March 2026, and airport officials are insisting this will not lead to serious travel delays. The runway closing is technically called Runway 1R/19L, and it's one of only four runways that SFO even has. The closure is expected to last between March 30, 2026, and October 2, 2026, and is intended to upgrade that runway's pavement and operational systems.

Dublin Fire Brigade is currently at the scene of the fire on the M50 Northbound at J7 in Lucan, Dublin. A spokesperson for the fire brigade said road users can expect the full closure. "Firefighters are currently responding to a waste truck fire, Northbound on M50 in Dublin J7 Lucan," he said. "A full closure is in place, we'll keep you updated as the incident develops," a spokesperson for the Dublin Fire Brigade said.

"You know, I don't want to get too far into it. I just arrived about 30 minutes ago. So there was some delays," he said. "I don't know if there was intent or not. But, man, the international stuff was a bear. But we made it. We made it."

Due to a technical issue, the Central Terminal Area tunnel for Terminals 2 and 3 is currently closed. We are working hard to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and apologise for any disruption.
