The vivo X300 Pro is a smaller, refined successor with a flat-edged display, OriginOS 6, a tweaked camera system, larger battery, and a distinctive brown finish.
Here are two 4K clips shot at 120fps - one uses Dolby Vision HDR, the other is a 10-bit Log video. The first video is used for a slow-motion effect, you can see it in how slowly the fireworks in the background move. The second also shows off a selective slow-mo effect, but it also demonstrates the advantages of Log video - namely, that a video editor has more freedom to adjust brightness and contrast as the videos capture more dynamic range.
The vivo X300 Pro has been spotted in the 3C database, having been certified by the Chinese authority recently. This has revealed the fact that it will support 90W wired charging, which is identical to its predecessor.
We've been hearing a lot about vivo X300 Pro's camera upgrades - the upcoming camera flagship is said to use Sony's LYT-828 1/1.3" sensor (an improved version of the LYT-818 used in the X200 Pro and Ultra) and an upgraded 200MP telephoto module. The telephoto module will use a 200MP sensor from Samsung. Vivo exec Han Boxiao revealed on Weibo that this sensor is "deeply customized" and vivo will have exclusive use of it. It's called the ISOCELL HPB "Thanos".
