A worker is dead after reportedly falling off a garage roof in Toronto's west end on Tuesday, police say. The fatality happened in the area of Bloor Street W. and Ossington Avenue, Toronto police said in a social media post. Police were called to the area at about 11:15 a.m. Police said the worker was pronounced dead on scene.
At around 9 a.m., troopers responded to a report that a bucket truck had been knocked onto its side and into oncoming traffic on Memorial Drive, according to a statement from Massachusetts State Police. The worker - who was in the bucket at the time of the incident, Boston 25 News reports - was transported to a hospital with serious injuries, police said.

A building has collapsed in central Madrid, on No. 4 Hileras Street of the Spanish capital. So far, four people are reported missing according to Madrid city officials, three men and one woman. The number of injured remains unclear. One of the injured was taken to hospital by ambulance with apparently serious bone fractures. At the scene, 11 units of the Madrid Fire Department were working following the partial collapse of several floors in the building, which was undergoing renovation.
