Hyundai Motors has partnered with Avride, a Yandex spinoff, to develop fully autonomous cars for ridehailing by retrofitting 100 Ioniq 5 SUVs with advanced driverless technology. Avride aims to launch a commercial robotaxi service, significantly expanding its fleet in conjunction with Uber.
