Escif, the Spanish artist known for his collaborative works, recently launched 'OTOITO' in Valencia, exploring the interplay between his son Oto and father Ito. This exhibition showcases a blend of art that reflects uninhibited expression and the rebellious nature of graffiti. The project emphasizes the connections between generations, highlighting their differences and similarities in a formless space that bridges 70 years, 60 cm, and 50 kg. Ultimately, it serves as a celebration of encounters and communication within the creative process among family members.
Now Escif has taken this to a whole new level with OTOITO at CTAV, Valencia, Spain, where Escif has curated a show of new works alongside collaborations with both his son and his father, Ito.
The space between Ito and Oto occupies 70 years, 60 cm and 50 kg of distance. It is a formless and changing space that gathers an infinity of variables and possible coordinates.
