Casa Barcelona / VVAA studio
Briefly

The architectural design of the new building project emphasizes open space and natural lighting by utilizing the existing structural grid of a ground floor garage. Each level is arranged to facilitate light and ventilation, radiating from a central core towards the exterior. Outdoor communal spaces are enhanced by permeable ceramic closures that offer privacy without sacrificing daylight. The interior features a neutral background that accentuates natural wood elements and ceramic ceilings. Energy efficiency is also prioritized, incorporating insulation, solar panels, and aerothermal systems for climate control and hot water needs.
The project's design is centered around the existing structural grid of the garage, allowing for open spaces and organized living areas through a vertical communication core.
Natural light and ventilation are a priority, with radially configured spaces leading to outdoor terraces designed for communal use while maintaining privacy.
