After lamenting his status on Bayern Munich's second team last week, Nestory Irankunda got the loan move he wanted to Grasshopper Club Zurich.
Nestory has integrated very well after his move from Australia to Europe and has repeatedly shown his great talent with our reserves. We're convinced he'll take the next sporting steps in the Swiss top tier at GC Zurich.
This is a great opportunity for me to further my development in the first Swiss division. I'm very happy to be at GC Zurich.
Irankunda has not exactly lit the world on fire statistically and was battling for playing time with Bayern Munich II. Perhaps, this move will give him a jolt of energy.
